After the impressive win over an American college selection, Cuban baseball does not stop and from Tuesday on it will be held the First National Championship U23.

The event welcomes teams from all provinces, divided into four pools in the first stage of 24 games each. All first places advance to the next round, as well as the two teams with better winning percentage among runner-ups.

The venues chosen by the National Baseball Commission are: Matanzas, Cienfuegos, Ciego de Avila, and Holguin.

The first games are: Pinar del Rio vs. Isla de la Juventud, and Matanzas-Artemisa at Palmar the Junco Stadium; Habana-Mayabeque and Cienfuegos-Villa Clara at 5 de Septiembre stadium; at José Ramón Cepero Park, Ciego de Avila vs. Las Tunas, and Sancti Spiritus will face Camaguey; and finally, Holguin-Granma, Guantanamo-Santiago de Cuba at Calixto arcia stadium.
