Staging in Cuba of the play “Favez”

The play “Favez” is being presented starting today at the Adolfo Llauradó theater in El Vedado, in this capital, as part of the days for the Month of Francophonie in Cuba.
 
From March 18 to 23 -this last day as the end of a whole agenda dedicated to France on the island-, the staging of this play will take place with Cuban actress, playwright and theater director Liliana Lam.

Lam plays the role of Swiss Enriqueta Favez, the first woman who, dressed as a man, practiced medicine in Cuba and America in the 19th century.

Under the artistic direction of Alberto Cortina, this proposal has the best reception from the public and specialized critics.
