Havana, April 25 (RHC)-- The star Robertlandy Simon was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Sunday victory of his team, Lube Civitanova, in the fourth game of the semifinal of the Italian volleyball league against Trentino, which is tied at two wins apiece.

The designation of Simon as the MVP of the match was the highlight of the weekend for Cuban volleyball players playing in different leagues around the world, Cuban TV colleague Carlos Alberto Gonzalez noted in his Facebook profile.

In the French A League, Jesus Herrera's Chaumont. Osniel Mergarejo, Roamy Alonso and José Miguel Gutiérrez started their semi-final against Montpellier with a 1-3 defeat.
