Russia reports more than 41 million Covid-19 diagnostic tests

Russia has performed about 41,100,000 diagnostic tests, 218,000 in one day, for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, informed the general staff to fight that disease.

As a result of these tests, some 218,397 patients are under medical surveillance and 1,073,849 cases were positive, 5,529 of them in the last 24 hours in 84 out of 85 Russian regions.

This was the highest amount of cases reported in a day since July 27, according to Moscow television. Such figure exceeded 5,000 cases registered for the 12th consecutive day.

Some 5,605 patients were discharged from hospitals in a day, totaling 884,305 recoveries, and the national recovery rate stands at 82.3%.
