Red Flags Over Mbappé at Real Madrid
especiales

The absence of French forward Kylian Mbappé from today's training sessions has sounded alarms at Real Madrid, ahead of the team's Champions League match this Wednesday.
This occurs at a critical moment for the "White House" and on the eve of the crucial clash against Manchester City tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mbappé fractured the ring finger on his left hand this past Sunday during a play in the match that the merengues lost 0-2 to Celta de Vigo in Spain's LaLiga.
In addition to confirming that Kiki is suffering pain from the fractured finger, Real Madrid added that the French player is simultaneously experiencing physical discomfort, without offering further details.
Spanish media are already mentioning Brazilian Rodrygo Goes as a possible substitute, a player who has gone more than 30 matches without scoring a goal.
Confirmed absences from the white squad against City will be full-backs Alexander Arnold and Dani Carvajal, and center-back Éder Militão, with Dean Huijsen also almost certainly out, and doubts surrounding Eduardo Camavinga.
Real Madrid has only been defeated by Liverpool (0-1) in this knockout stage of the Champions League, but a victory against City would secure direct passage to the next phase of the tournament.
