The presidents of the other two nations that make up that bloc, Peru and Mexico, are participating onlinr given the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Duque arrived on Friday at the capital, where he will receive from his Chilean counterpart the pro tempore presidency of the Alliance, whose members on this occasion plan to sign statements on the regional digital market, the promotion of the digital transformation of societies and gender equality.

Likewise, they will take stock of Chile's management in the last 16 months at the head of the block. During that period, the implementation of a work plan stood out to defuse the aftermaths of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the work for a sustainable management in the use of plastics that will contribute to avoid the environment's pollution.
