The National Art for Mom Handicraft Fair will open its doors until May 10th at the Cultural Station on Línea and 18th Street in this capital, with 99 artists in 190 stands.
A wide variety of handcrafted products will be available to the public, including textiles, furniture, footwear, jewelry, ceramics, glass, and metals.
A new feature will be the "In Line with Fashion" space, which revives the spirit of the old Fashion Week. On May 9th and 10th, attendees will enjoy four runways, the fruit of the talent of our designers.
Art exhibitions, musical and dance performances, book launches, and a tribute to cultural promoter Nisia Agüero, founder and first director of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, will enrich the fair's lineup, which is one of the most popular offerings for Cuban families.
A concert by the female group Anacaona liven up the opening day, while performances by Toques del Río and Haila María Mompié followed.
