On Friday evening, the documentaries "Culpable" and "Cuban Bees: The Organic Revolution" were screened at the Pearse Centre in Dublin, sponsored by the solidarity organization "Cuba Support Group" and the embassy. The event featured special guest Daniesky Acosta, renowned Cuban film director and producer, who traveled from Glasgow, United Kingdom, for the occasion.

With the participation of the Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche, the board of directors of the Solidarity organization, Simon McGuiness and Nina Blodau, Cuban residents in Ireland, and Irish guests, the Cultural Center's auditorium was filled with guests and supporters in the battle against the US blockade.

Prior to the screenings, in another room where Cuban posters were displayed, the diplomat from the Caribbean island, welcomed to Daniesky and thanked for the enthusiastic reception. He briefly introduced both documentaries: "Culpable," which captures the key moments of the International Tribunal against the Blockade, held in Brussels in November 2023, and "Cuban Bees: The Organic Revolution," about the sustainable production of Cuban honey amid the difficulties brought on by the economic siege against the country. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining solidarity with Cuba, a victim of the effects of the blockade and its unjustified inclusion on the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

After the screenings, director Acosta delved into the artistic value and the message of resilience of the Cuban people in both documentaries. In a fluid and substantive exchange about the blockade with the participants, the event became a demonstration of solidarity with Cuba. Likewise, the Solidarity Group's directors explained the importance of supporting their campaigns against the extraterritorial application of the blockade, known as "1v4Cuba" and their traditional marches throughout the country as a show of solidarity.
