Havana Hosts Biennial of Visual Arts Exhibit

Havana is hosting the biennial visual arts exhibit considered by its organizers as a cultural decolonizing gesture because it show the artistic creation of the global south.

During the opening of the event, the director of the Wilfredo Lam Contemporary Arts Center Nelson Ramirez said that the artists participating in the exhibit offer their support of Cuba through artistic works.

This year the event is attended by artists from Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Mongolia, Türkiye, Iran, Germany and Austria.

The Havana Visual Arts Biennial Exhibit will run till February 28, 2025.
