Quito, Feb 10 (Prensa Latina) Winners of seats in the legislative and Parliament of Ecuador for Union for Hope (UNES) assured on Wednesday that the progressive movement is working towards a victorious second round of the presidential elections.

In an interview with Prensa Latina, the elected Ecuadorian parliamentarian Jorge Rojas and Paola Cabezas, who won a seat in the National Assembly, provided details on the work UNES is carrying out in search of the triumph of its presidential ticket Andres Arauz-Carlos Rabascall in the runoff, scheduled for April 11.

'We are already getting ready to start touring the country,' Rojas assured adding, 'the new campaign will be with joy, decision and inclusion of all groups (men, women, young people, entrepreneurs, Montubio natives, peasants), people who want to join this process to recover the homeland and the future.'

Likewise, he warned that while the counting for national assembly persons continues, they will accompany that phase in defense of each vote, in order to have the representation that the people decided at the polls and to have a strong legislative bloc defending the necessary projects for the welfare of the population.

Regarding the first round of general elections, held on February 7, he highlighted the massive participation of voters and appreciated the support offered to UNES.
