Guantánamo, Cuba – Noted Havana-based singer and songwriter David Blanco, along with his band, will begin a series of three performances in Guantánamo province starting today, as part of the celebrations for International Students' Day.

The concerts, which will take place over two days, are notable for bringing his music directly to young audiences, aiming to connect with this key segment of society. They represent the largest cultural event in the region since the passing of Hurricane Melissa in late October.

Open-Air Concert Kicks Off the Tour

The first performance is scheduled for this Monday, November 17, at 9:00 PM, at the Pedro Agustín Pérez Multifunctional Plaza. This event will be an open-air concert for the general public.

Dedicated Performances for Students and Soldiers

On Tuesday, November 18, the artist has an intensive itinerary. It begins at 10:00 AM in the courtyard of the Antonia Luisa Cabal Salis Professional School of Music. This morning recital is conceived as a specialized encounter, directed exclusively towards students of the arts, who are the future professionals of Cuban culture.

The tour will conclude at 5:00 PM on Tuesday with a special presentation at the Eastern Battalion of the Border Brigade. This performance will bring David Blanco's music to young people performing their Active Military Service, integrating this sector into the festivities.

David Blanco, known for hit singles like "Mueve la Pachanga," "La Evolución," and "Yo soy el punto cubano," is a well-established figure on the Cuban music scene, with an extensive career in pop and rock genres.
