The Daily Effort

There are no desks, there are no textbooks, there are no school supplies... There’s only one teacher for hundreds of students. And each of the girls only has one notebook for all subjects... and her memory. But at this school in Zanzibar, no time is wasted.

Clinging to the hope of a better life, they do not sit at home and wait for the miracle. They study every day, aware of the importance of training.

Very few students from rural schools in that country can access higher levels of education. But some have been able to overcome many obstacles, and become referents for the communities.

Studying is an essential step to make dreams come true. Or simply to walk with more light through the demanding paths of life.
