Season two of very much-liked TV series Calendario is almost ready to go, according to statements by beloved actress Clarita García, professor Amalia, and it could be back on the screen next December, or in January 2023.

This new release has twelve episodes, which focus more on family disputes of characters than their routines on the school environment, which is something different from season one.

“This season is going to be more intense. Time is going to be spent more at characters’ homes rather than at school. And professor Amalia is involved in all that,” she said.

A year and a half in the life of each one of the characters represents, of course, brings about tangible changes in former junior high school students. They are now studying at eleventh grade in different schools, but the plot always manages to bring them together somehow.

Some of the characters do not appear in these episodes, but we will see again Noemí (Ingrid Lobaina), Vladimir (Frank Daniel Martínez), Inés (Anabel Arencibia), Anabel (Daniela Leiva), Leonardo (Yanm Calderín), Israel, el nagüe (Eddy Drigs), Orestes (Ernesto Codner).

"New actors join the TV series and all of them give more depth to conflicts,” stated Clarita, who had suggested, in her previous visit to CubaSi, that the character she plays might find a new love.

Renowned actors, such as Denys Ramos and Jorge Enrique Caballero, are among those who join the cast.

Clarita confirmed that “Amilcar Salatti (writer) and Magda González (director) are very happy with the results achieved in season one and we all hope this season two equally connects with the audience and they love it.”
