Cuban Prime Minister's Tribute to Benny Moré

Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Prime Minister of the Republic, paid tribute today on his official Twitter account to singer Benny Moré on the 60th anniversary of his death.

With a pilgrimage to Benny's tomb, the people of Santa Isabel de las Lajas also paid tribute this Sunday to the Cuban singer-songwriter on the 60th anniversary of his death.

The tomb of Bartolomé Maximiliano Moré (Benny Moré) is located in the local cemetery, where the humility and greatness of the renowned sonero are honored every August 24 for his birthday and on February 19, the last day of his life.
