Cuban President Extends Birthday Greetings to Silvio Rodríguez

Through his official X account, the Cuban leader highlighted the artist's importance for the peoples of the continent with the words: "Solo el amor engendra la maravilla y poetas de tu calibre, Silvio. Muchas felicidades en tu cumpleaños; para los pueblos del continente ha sido una suerte tenerte. Un abrazo nuestro." ("Only love engenders wonder and poets of your caliber, Silvio. The Head of State's message recognizes the transcendental work of this artist, a fundamental figure of the Nueva Trova movement, whose musical creation has for decades accompanied the struggles and dreams of Latin America.
