Cuban Player Contributes to Murcia's Victory in Spanish Basketball

Cuban guard Howard Sant-Roos made a solid contribution today in UCAM Murcia's 92-80 victory over Valencia Basket in the Spanish basketball league.

The Caribbean point guard finished with 10 points, one steal, and five rebounds in a win spearheaded by American shooting guard Michael Forrest, author of 30 points, three assists, and two steals.

Sant-Roos, 34, has played in all 11 of his club's domestic league games and has accumulated over 100 appearances in Spain since joining Casademont Zaragoza in the 2022-2023 season, moving the following year to the Murcia squad.

In other results from today's Liga Endesa action, Breogán defeated Bilbao Basket 100-99, and in a Catalan duel, Barcelona beat Joventut Badalona 90-80.

Real Madrid leads the standings with 10 wins and one loss, ahead of Murcia (9-2) and Valencia (8-2).
