Cuba sweeps its rivals and qualifies to the Baseball5 World Cup Final

Havana, November 12 (RHC) - The Cuban team competing in the first Baseball 5 World Cup in Mexico City, swept the teams of Tunisia and Venezuela on Friday, to maintain its unbeaten record in the super round of the tournament and qualify for the grand finale on Saturday.

With the silver medal assured, Pablo Terry's disciples will first face the Chinese Taipei team, in purely formal challenges, and then discuss the gold medal at night.

This afternoon they beat Tunisia in two games, with scores of 10-1 and 11-1 (KO), and then Venezuela with scores of 8-0 and 11-0 (KO).

The boys from Cuba, the country where this dynamic discipline was born, have so far scored 132 runs in the 14 matches played and have allowed only nine.
