Cuba reported 586 cases of Covid-19 and one death

Havana, March 11 (RHC)-- Cuba today reported 586 new positive cases of Covid-19 and one death.

Two thousand 427 confirmed active cases are hospitalized.

Cuba accumulates 1 075,616 diagnosed with the pathogen since exactly two years ago this Friday, two years after the first cases were detected, and the total number of fatalities as a consequence of the pandemic reached 8,503.

The Caribbean island shows a lethality rate of 0.79 percent, much lower than the 1.34 in the world and 1.78 in the Americas, according to a comparison of the data provided by Minsap.
