Cuba praises Vietnam’s heroic and long struggle on National Day

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President Miguel Diaz-Canel praised Vietnam's heroic and long struggle on this country's National Day on Monday.
 
In a congratulatory message sent to his counterpart, To Lam, Diaz-Canel quoted the words of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, who expressed that no country that fought for their independence “had to carry out such a long and heroic struggle as the people of Vietnam.”
