Cuba appoints Danny Miranda coach of U23 baseball team

Danny Miranda was appointed coach of the Cuba Under-23 team that will compete in the Pan American Tournament, scheduled for October 9-17 in the Dominican Republic.
Miranda earned the trust of the Cuban baseball leaders after his outstanding work, which recently led Ciego de Avila squad to the crown of the Third Cuban Baseball Elite League.
Likewise, the names of other coaches, to guide the national teams in upcoming international matches, were announced:
Raul Rodriguez Palacio (Havana) will coach the Cuban team to the U-12 World Cup, to be held in Taiwan, July 22 to August 3, 2025.
Alexander Urquiola (Pinar del Rio province) will lead the U-15 team that will compete in the Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic, from September 6 to 11, next year.
Finally, Abeyci Pantoja (Las Tunas province) will lead the U-18 team in the World Championship in Japan, scheduled for September 5 to 14, 2025.
The Cuban Baseball and Softball Federation stressed that the appointment of these coaches expresses the commitment to strengthen the work by categories and enhance a quality sequence for the future of Cuban baseball.
