Great commotion in the world has caused the announcement of the already available ChatGPT <https://gpt-ai-chat.com>, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot program specialized in dialogue and content creation based on a model adjustment of the language with learning techniques.

Its launch, last November 30th, went almost unnoticed by some users because it coincided with the World Cup in Qatar and the end-of-year celebrations.

But during these first two months of 2023, the service already reports more than 1 million users, and the experiences reflected by specialized media classify it as impressive, due to the ability of ChatGPT to answer questions fluently and organize texts, summarize articles and create contents just by entering the correct data.

ChatGPT was developed in 2015 by the OpenAI company, in the United States, and its main figure today is San Altman, but Elon Musk is also included among its founders, who left the project in 2018 due to conflicts of interest with his main company, Tesla.

But the AI has a long history, dating back to 1842, when Ada Lovelace, a mathematician and noted computer pioneer, programmed what would be the first algorithm to be processed by a machine.

Ada speculated that the machine "could act on things other than numbers...the engine (the machine) could compose elaborate and scientific pieces of music of any degree of complexity or length."

However, the term "artificial intelligence" and its study as a field arose in Dartmouth in 1965, when several scientists organized a conference and invited 10 researchers to formalize the concept.

AI has had to advance a lot to show the results that it’s generating today in the most dissimilar fields. Undoubtedly, it’s ChatGPT that is now attracting the astonished attention of several users.

The BBC managed to do possibly the first interview published by a press media to ChatGPT <https://www.bbc.com/mundo/noticias-64376578>, in which, in a fluid dialogue with his "speaker", it inquires about what’s the questions you can answer and if your answers are totally reliable.

Regarding this concern, it replied:

“(…) my answers may be incomplete or out of date. However, I can provide you with the information I currently have and help you understand a particular topic. It's always a good idea to verify any information you receive, especially when making important decisions.

"I'm a tool to help you find answers and provide information, but it's important to use multiple sources and consult with experts when necessary."

Also looking for answers, CubaSí tried, through a VPN, a dialogue with ChatGPT, but... this artificial intelligence seems to be quite partial to the powerful and its powerful tools are not enough to interpret terms such as blockade or censorship.

Despite many attempts, his answer was only one, without shades and, logically, much less soulless:

"Not available. OpenAI services are not available in your country."
