The race against cancer, initially called for next March 21st was postponed according to the measures adopted in Cuba to prevent the spreading of Covid-19.

This, in addition, is in line with what is requested by the World Association of Marathons and Distance Racing (AIMS), the main promoter of these activities worldwide.

The estimate in Cuba of participants in this race is around 300 thousand people, since they include recreational walks and festivals from the small settlements of population, in rural and mountain sites, as well as all the municipalities.

The next date for this event, coordinated by the Marabana-Maracuba Project, will be informed timely.
