Caballero wins for second time in World Boxing Championship

Belgrade (Prensa Latina) Cuban boxer Osvel Caballero on Thursday won for the second time at the Belgrade 2021 World Boxing Championship, after defeating Iranian counterpart Sajad Mohammadpour by RSC in the second round and advanced to the round of 16.
At the Stark Arena, the Cuban boxer fought the Asian, who suffered a split in his right superciliary arch and the doctor suggested to the main referee to stop the fight.
Caballero fought well in the first round and dominated his opponent with unanimous vote of the judges in that round (10-9), an advantage that made him win it.
Thus, the Cuban team has six wins against two setbacks, those of multi-champions Roniel Iglesias, 71 kilos, and Lazaro Alvarez (60 kg).
