The Jose Marti gathering with Noemí Valdés and Ramón Guerra Díaz as hosts has been programmed for January 22, while on the 24,  at 10:00 a.m., will take place an artistic gala, directed by professor Vidal Tarín, with the presentation of the group Romance and young and children groups from the Jose Marti Natal House Museum.

The photographic exhibit De Martí a Fidel, de Dos Ríos al Moncada, Hasta la Victoria Siempre, by photographer Julio Ángel Larramendi Joa, will be inaugurated on January 28, at 3:00 p.m. as an initiative of the National Council of Cultural Hertiage presenting photos of sites and monuments related to the National Hero along the whole country.

The same day and sponsored by the José Martí Cultural Society will be given the Jose Marti Natal House Museum commemorative medal to combatants of the Cuban Revolution on the 163rd anniversary of Marti’s birthday. Likewise, guitarist Aquiles Jorge will perform.  

The Casa Simón Bolívar, the Public Library Rubén Martínez Villena, the Espacio Barcelona-La Habana and the Casa de Artes y Tradiciones Chinas will also remember the Maestro with conferences, bibliographic and philatelic exhibits and the presentation of the book Necrópolis de Colón. El susurro de las piedras, and the screening of the film La Rosa Blanca.

On January 29, the book Aventuras desde La Edad de Oro (Sociedad Cultural José Martí, 2015), from Alexis Gutiérrez Gelabert will be presented at Vitrina de Valonia at 3pm, and during the whole month the library of that cultural center will display the exhibit Martí en historietas, integrated by albums related with the life and the work of Cuba’s National Hero.
