Laritza Bacallao to celebrate 20 years of artistic life at Karl Marx theatre
especiales
In a press conference at Café Miramar, the young singer advanced this will be the perfect moment to promote her album Solo se vive una vez, mostly those songs little known by the Cuban people.
This album, as she told Cubarte, was recorded with Planeta Records record house and will be available soon in Cuba with the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (EGREM), that’s why the record hasn’t yet been sold in the country and few of its songs are known.
Rudy Mora will be in charge of the artistic direction and confessed the concert will be quite a challenge because his objective is for the show to be completely in function of Laritza.
What I want is to translate her music to visual aspects, to transmit the public her songs’ atmosphere, to create a context where everything combines harmonically, the creator expressed during the meeting.
The concert, entitled Solo se vive una vez, just as the album, will have singers Cándido Fabré and Juan Guillermo as guest artists and will be taped by the Cuban television for its subsequent transmission.
Translation: Liana Fleitas (Cubarte)
