Cuba takes preventive measures to prevent entry of Ebola

Health authorities in Cuba currently maintain daily monitoring of its employees who are in medical missions to countries in Africa, and was announced by the director of the Department of International Control of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) Island, Niurka Molina Avila.

The official also said the Minsap are arranged surveillance measures in Cuban borders in order to identify suspicious travelers have Ebola disease for which there is still no preventive vaccine.

Since the outbreak of the disease began in March, 887 people have died of the 1,603 confirmed in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Nigeria cases, according to the latest report of the World Health Organization (WHO).
