Raul Castro Holds Talks with Portuguese President

Cuban President Raul Castro held talks Wednesday with Portuguese Head of State Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, who is paying an official visit to Cuba.
The two heads of state addressed the good pace of bilateral relations between their nations and ratified their will to further strengthen those links in the areas of trade, investment and cooperation. They also addressed international issues.
The Portuguese President was accompanied by ambassador to Cuba Luis Faro; the State Secretary for Foreign and Cooperation Affairs Teresa Ribeiro and by other members of his delegation.
On the Cuban side was Government vice-president and Economy minister Ricardo Cabrisas; Foreign Trade and Investment minister Rodrigo Malmierca, and acting foreign minister Marcelino Medina.
