International Workshop in Cuba to Deal with Sustainable Development

The discussions of the 9th Workshop on Sciences, Technology and Innovation CITAtenas-2016 will be focused on eleven central themes, in the sessions that will be held in this city on October 4-7, organizers confirmed today.

Under the motto For Integrated Management, Focused on Sustainable Development, the forum will tackle Social Innovation, Current Challenges for Cuban Development, Space Structures and Innovation Functions, and Cooperation and Work in Networks.

The list of topic will include Knowledge, Innovation and Industrial Property; Management of Innovation in Sustainable Food Production; Production Chains and Value Chains, as well as Knowledge Management and Integrated Management Systems.

The workshop will also include objectives as analysis of Local Development, Focused on Sustainability, and Knowledge, Innovation and Industrial Property.

President of the organizing committee Dariel de Leon Garcia said: our intention is to make CITAtenas-2016 a space for interaction among technologists, producers and innovators, to favor and exchange of experiences and exhibit successful technologies and processes, the expert added.
