Without a doubt, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum maintains her top spot in global popularity, while in her country she has been the most widely accepted leader, with a percentage ranging from 74% to 80%, even higher than that of her predecessor, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Popular admiration continued to grow for her firm stance on the demands of US President Donald Trump and his current henchman, Marco Rubio, in matters of security, trade, and foreign policy. The president has achieved the lowest number of tariffs in the world, the acceptance of her "Mexico Embraces You" program to assist tens of thousands of migrants, and respect for her rejection of the US naval presence in the Caribbean.

Almost a year into her administration, the country is growing economically and maintaining stable social development, which contradicts predictions from international financial organizations.

She emphasized that the relationship with the United States has been built on the principles of “shared responsibility, mutual trust, respect for sovereignty and territoriality, and cooperation without subordination,” and highlighted the trade agreements reached with Brazil.

The constitutional and legal reforms promoted in the first months of her administration have made it possible to repair the damage caused by the neoliberal period, and the reform of the Judiciary allowed for the popular election of judges and magistrates last June, an unprecedented and profoundly democratic event that should put an end to an era of nepotism and corruption.

During her short term, the president promoted 19 constitutional reforms and 40 new laws that strengthen social rights, sovereignty, and democracy, the incorporation of the National Guard into the Ministry of National Defense, the constitutional recognition of Indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples, the restoration of Pemex and the CFE as people's enterprises, and the substantive equality of women.

She also implemented measures regarding security, environmental bans such as those on genetically modified corn and vaping, and reforms that protect national sovereignty against any foreign interference.

In short, the country is consolidating a new economic model that combines macroeconomic stability with shared prosperity, making Mexico the country with the second lowest inequality in the Americas, after Canada. Poverty has been reduced to 29.5%, and it has a record $36 billion in foreign direct investment in the first half of 2025, inflation at 3.5% in July, and unemployment at 2.7%, among the lowest levels in the world.

Much could be written about her sincere and consistent efforts on behalf not only of her people, but also of those who suffer abuse, such as the Palestinian people. Their consistent and tangible support, not only from their people but also from the world, in her rejection of warmongering policies, her unequal fight against a crime that continues to be fueled by the flow of arms from the United States, and their solidarity with worthy causes, including the struggle of the Cuban people against the US blockade. In this context, she emphasized that despite all the machinations, the United States will continue to strengthen ties with Cuba, and the necessary Cuban medical aid for the Mexican people will continue to be accepted.
