Mr. Rubio's Lies 6
especiales

The war, which began with a treacherous attack by the Zionist entity against Iran, once again brought forth the deep differences between Mr. Rubio and his boss, Trump.
Many things could be said about this conflict itself, generally quite favorable to Iran, such as that it was clearly the clear winner over Israel, whose myth of invincibility was blown to pieces, including Mossad offices, the Ministry of Defense, and the facilities where cyberwars are managed, to name just a few buildings.
But there’s a less-discussed side of the conflict, but nonetheless invisible, which has to do with the real reasons for attacking Iran.
It has been repeated ad nauseam that they are trying to neutralize a sinister nuclear weapons production project, a pretext that has been used for at least 29 years. Let's say Iran would be in serious technological trouble if it had invested so much time, without results, for this purpose.
So, leaving aside the issue of the Persian nuclear weapon, the truth is that Israel and the American hawks misread Iran's domestic situation, in the context of an increasingly unfavorable situation for the Zionists, a context of widespread global rejection of its genocide in Gaza.
Therefore, it was time to create the conditions to provoke "regime change" in Iran and, in the process, divert the attention of international public opinion.
Neither nuclear bombs nor Iraq-style weapons of mass destruction, none of that. The goal is to annihilate the current government, ignoring its legitimacy and sovereign status. The idea was and continues to be to modify the balance of power in the Middle East, more favorable to the US and its disciple, Israel, by, for example, placing a subordinate government in Tehran, in a country of recognized geopolitical significance.
Clearly, Mr. Rubio understands this problem well; he behaves, thinks, and acts like any other hawk, in collusion with his partner in crime, Senator Ted Cruz, who is known to have made a major fool of himself in a recent interview about the conflict, where he insisted on the urgency of replacing the authorities in Tehran, using missiles, without having any idea which country he was promoting such a macabre outcome.
The aggressive positions against Iran of the now Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor are well known, motivated by the generous support for his political career from the Zionist lobby.
In the past, as a senator, Mr. Rubio led actions against diplomatic projects aimed at negotiating the artificially controversial issue of the nuclear program, to the point of attempting to sabotage talks and diplomatic exchanges deployed by predecessors in his current position, such as John Kerry, as well as being an enthusiastic promoter of all kinds of sanctions.
The positions now taken by President Trump are in flagrant contradiction, once again, with those of the head of imperial diplomacy, Mr. Rubio, who, as has been repeatedly reported, played a poor role in this story, without a leading role, despite foreign policy being his area of work. He was probably surprised by Trump’s actions in just a few days, quickly going from aggressor to champion of peace.
On the one hand, Mr. Rubio declared victory when the US Air Force bombed Iranian facilities. Perhaps he saw an old idea crystallizing, even going so far as to claim that the world was safer from now on, forgetting, of course, the more than 40,000 troops his country has deployed in that region, as we know, thanks to the proverbial imperial spirit of this nation.
Minutes later, so to speak, Trump announced that the "long-awaited peace" had finally been reached in the Middle East, and even hinted at some degree or level of secret arrangements with Iranian authorities during these episodes. Hence, US authorities were apparently warned of the attack on their Al Udeid base, reportedly the largest in the region.
After these confusing episodes and their media manipulation, Trump's intention is clearly evident, at least in appearance, to go against the traditional logic of hawks like Mr. Rubio.
The question arises as to why the American president is acting this way, and don't say it's because he's being promoted to the Nobel Peace Prize; no, the matter here is less glamorous; it has more to do with concepts rooted in the MAGA group, Trump's ultra-nationalist group, who believe there's no reason to fix other countries' problems.
A categorical example of this was seen just hours after the bombs fell on alleged sites of Iran's nuclear program. The Proud Boys group declared their divorce from Trump, lamenting their betrayal after the attack; as you may recall, this extremist group gained media notoriety when, among others, they stormed Congress, Buffalo Bill-style, on the morning of January 6, 2021.
Certainly, this story is full of ironies. The ideological movement that supposedly governs the United States contradictorily has a social base that rejects imperial logic.
A debate could arise as to whether or not Trump obeys the so-called "deep state," the military-industrial complex, the practical masters of that country, but it’s irrelevant to this analysis, especially to assess how the hawkish Mr. Rubio fares in such turbulent waters.
In any case, Mr. Rubio will continue lying, hiding his thoughts with a poker face, feeling forced to extend an olive branch to the Russians, Chinese, and perhaps now Iranians, without abandoning his aspiration to impose his particular anti-Cuban agenda, hoping that after his country's bombing of Iran, the next victims will be Venezuela and Cuba, just as Giménez and Salazar, the two Cuban-born horsemen of the apocalypse, seated in the House of Representatives, have been angrily demanding during this occasion.
A warning: the world is sufficiently intertwined that a conflict in the Middle East could impact Cuba, either because oil prices skyrocket or because the Empire, at the height of its failing hegemony, could react to challenges from the darkest corners of the world. This phrase was made famous by W. Bush, amid the rubble of the Twin Towers in New York, in a distant 2001, promising fire and lead to the whole world.
