Marco Rubio and the Bridges of Hate against Cuba
especiales
The boss of haters within the anti-Cuba mafia rooted in Miami, senator Marco Rubio, sent a formal letter to the director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, asking him to investigate the probable links between members of the organization Puentes de Amor (Bridges of Love) and the Cuban regimen.
According to the Cuban-counterrevolution media on the internet, the letter sent last Tuesday was triggered off due to a demonstration carried out by this group last July 31 in Coral Gables, Florida, which, according to the senator, is part of “a coordinated effort by the Cuban regimen to sow discord, incite conflict and affect the U.S. foreign policy.”
In the words of the boss of Miami’s haters, the members of Puentes de Amor should be labeled as “unregistered foreign agents of the Cuban dictatorship violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA),” among other unforgivable guilt, by flying “Castro’s 26-J Movement flag, in open support to the Cuban Revolution that finally resulted in the present Communist dictatorship” during the demonstration held in Coral Gables.
“Puentes de Amor –said mobster Rubio in his letter– has well known associations with the Cuban regime, and as recent as last month, its leaders met with the Díaz-Canel regime in Cuba. The FBI should acknowledge the group and its members for what they are – malign foreign actors inside the United States – and conduct investigations of individuals who may be acting as foreign agents of the Cuban regime.”
The leader of the anti-blockade movement to Cuba Puentes de Amor, Carlos Lazo, rejected in a statement the outlandish accusations of the Republican senator, wondering what was the crime of which he was accused of: “Bringing powdered milk to pediatric hospitals? Carry syringes for vaccination against the pandemic? Bringing Custodiol for liver transplant operations to Cuban children who need it? This is what we do and many other organizations do.”
The senator's ridiculous threats —known for his repeated lies about Cuba— seek above all to silence the little freedom of expression and demonstration that still remains in Miami. And he makes it clear, once again, who are the ones who, through the imposition of hatred, insist on breaking the family ties between the two nations, and who, leaned on a blockade, try to plunge the Cuban people into a bloodbath.
Let's wait and see if the FBI fulfills Marco Rubio’s ill-advised wishes and, by the way, also investigates Barack Obama for participating, a few years ago, in a game of dominoes in a comedy show on Cuban television.
