Many people talk about Marxism (for better or for worse) without understanding the quintessence of the lesson. And there are a lot of people who don't even talk about it. The Capital is too dense for most mortals. It’s famous the bad reputation of certain manuals that attempted to "make it digestable."

The fact is that there are thousands of sculptures of Karl Marx that would be only stone for many of those who could come across them. Or an aesthetic experience, at best.

If one takes a look at it from the side, could be just that: a bust of Marx with excellent craftsmanship. But if you look at it from the front, or from the other side, it’s something else: beneath the surface there is a "living" tissue. After all, we are talking about a man.

Those who want to know "what did the artist mean", ask him. Art is polysemic. Particularly, political art, which so often puts certain notions of politics in check. But for the defenders of the legacy of the German philosopher (who are not as few as people might believe) this work could perfectly work as a banner. At least to those (who are not as few as some would like to think) who can jump over the traps of certain dogmas.
