Cuba received today the majority support of the international community in its fight against the blockade imposed by the United States, intensified to unprecedented levels during the administration of Donald Trump.

Despite diplomatic pressures and blackmail, 130 member states voted alongside Cuba in this denunciation that the country has made every year since 1992.

For two days, dozens of arguments were heard at the organization's headquarters in New York, the vast majority supporting the Caribbean country's just demand that this policy of collective punishment be lifted.
