Terrorists Attack Russian Helicopter in Syria Without Casualties

Damascus, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The Coordination Center for the ceasefire, in the Russian air base of Khmeimim, and the Syrian authorities have confirmed the terrorist attack on a helicopter carrying humanitarian aid.

Reportedly, the aircraft made an emergency landing about 40 kilometers northwest of Palmyra, liberated by the army and allied militias earlier this year.

The crew was unhurt, but the helicopter suffered damage upon being hit by mortar shells, the sources added, which specified that another helicopter arrived in the scene and moved them to the base in Khmeimim, in the Syrian province of Latakia.
