Cuba registered 26 boxers in the "Domadores" team (Tamers) for the next Fifth World Series of the discipline (WSB) to begin on January 16, 2015.

According to the official site "Cubasi" (www.cubasi.cu) the "Domadores" signed three men in the categories of 49, 52, 56, 64, 75, 81 and 91 kilograms, two to compete in the 60 and 69 kilograms, and only one, Erislandi Savon, in the 91 kilograms.

The team includes young figures as Joahnys Argilagos (49), World Cadet Champion in 2013, Armando Martinez (60) and Andy Cruz (56), national runners-up 2014, and the world junior champions Javier Ibanez (56) and Yordan Hernandez (over 91).

Cuba is the defending champion of the WSB. The Caribbean island will compete in Group A which also includes the Atlas Lions of Morocco, the Otamans of Ukraine, and the Russia team, the "Guerreros" (Warriors) from Mexico, the China Dragons, the Desert Eagles of Algeria, and the British Lionhearted.
