Former president George W. Bush was so tickled by a Dallas choir's rendition of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" that he couldn't help but dance as he held hands with First Lady Michelle Obama at a memorial service for Dallas police officers ambushed during a protest against police brutality.
Other officials appear to have been made visibly uncomfortable by Bush's inappropriate display of joy during a moment of national grief. Still, Laura Bush and First Lady Michelle Obama clasped the former president's hands tightly, perhaps afraid of what might happen if they let go.
