Trump Threatens Petro and Colombia with "Very Severe Measures"

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened this Wednesday to take measures against the Colombian leader, Gustavo Petro, amid the ongoing dispute between Washington and Bogotá.

"He's a thug, he's a bad guy, and he's producing a lot of drugs. They have cocaine factories," the president accused before the press.

As diplomatic tensions rise, Trump is not relenting and is once again threatening Colombia and its president: "He'd better be careful, or we will take very severe measures against him and his country," he warned.

The president mentioned that he has ordered the halt of all assistance programs to Colombia. He stated that Petro has turned the South American nation into "a death trap."
