The Government of the United States will remove Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list on Tuesday, according to media reports circulating here. 
 
The designation was imposed on Cuba in January 2021, days before Republican President Donald Trump left the White House.

Democratic President Joe Biden, who will conclude his term in office in a week, promised to change his policy on Cuba during his 2020 campaign.
