Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro affirmed on Friday that unity is a need of the peoples who work to build bridges of cooperation for the sake of development.

On his official X account (formerly Twitter), the Venezuelan head of State noted that in the G77+China we undertake the task of facing the new challenges, 'ratifying our commitment to making humanity a community of shared destiny.'

Upon his arrival in Havana a few moments earlier, the South American leader wrote on the same social network, 'We are in the Island of Dignity, Cuba, ready for the G77+China Summit.'
