Havana, Jun 29 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) on Wednesday reported that 7,392,481 people have received the booster shot against Covid-19.
According to MINSAP, 9,973,519 Cubans, that is, 90 percent of the population, have already been fully vaccinated.
So far, 10,678,990 citizens have received a dose of homegrown vaccines; 9,415,736 have already received the second dose; and 9,117,897 the third shot.
Therefore, Cuba has reported 38,558,344 applied doses of the Cuban Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines have been administered.
According to Cuba’s National Statistics and Information Office, the island’s population at the end of 2020 was about 11,180,000 inhabitants.
