India tests 2,000-km range ballistic missile successfully
New Delhi, June 28 (Prensa Latina) India successfully tested the Agni-Prime new-generation ballistic missile, which can hit targets that are 2,000 kilometers away, off the country's east coast, it was reported on Monday.
The missile, which has nuclear capacity, is part of a series of such weapons developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and using state-of-the-art technology, Asian News International agency pointed out.
Several telemetry stations and radars along India's east coast tracked and supervised the missile, which accomplished all the goals of the mission with high-level precision, the DRDO said in a report.
