Consultations continue in Italy to create new government
Rome, Feb 5 (Prensa Latina) The Prime Minister in charge, Mario Draghi, continues today the consultations with the political forces represented in the parliament in search of support for the formation of the new Italian government.

After receiving the previous day the support of minor groups represented in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, the former president of the Bank of Italy and of the European Central Bank will hold talks today with the group for the Autonomies in the Senate and the representatives of Free and Equal in both branches of the legislature.

At 12:45 p.m. local time, he is scheduled to meet with the delegation of Italia Viva, a party led by former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, who anticipated his support to the birth of a new executive, after causing the fall of the previous one led by Giuseppe Conte.

Draghi will also receive representatives of the Brothers of Italy, a right-wing group opposed to any solution to the crisis other than an early call for elections, followed by those of the Democratic Party and Forza Italia, which are both willing to be part of the ministerial team.

Meetings are scheduled for tomorrow with the League, also in favor of the call to the polls, although without ruling out the possibility of being part of the new government, and the Five Stars Movement, open to Draghi's management, after the initial rejection expressed by its political leader Vitto Crimi.
