Caracas, Dec 9 (Prensa Latina) The Vice President of the Indigenous Peoples of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Aloha Núñez highlighted the historical significance of the election day in indigenous peoples to elect their deputies to the National Assembly. In a public address from the state of Zulia, Nuñez said 'it is a special day because for the first time the people will directly elect their deputies (…. ) We are sure that we will be represented in Parliament.'

 

She also stressed that this process is another triumph to vindicate the rights of these communities, which has been achieved in these 20 years of the Bolivarian Revolution.
