Syria reaches over 4,000 Covid-19 cases
Damascus, Sep 27 (Prensa Latina) Syria's Ministry of Health reported on Sunday a peak of Covid-19 cases, amounting to 4,038 since the onset of the pandemic on March 22 in the country.
As for those recoveries from Covid-19, the figure rose to 1,048 and there were three new deaths rising the death toll to 188, adds Syria's health authority on the press briefing, and insists on maintaining and respecting preventive measures.
For the fifth consecutive week, the city of Aleppo was the one with the highest number of cases on Sunday with 15 afflicted, followed by Damascus(10), Homs(7) and Sweida(5).
Syria maintains the closure of borders and restrictions on the attendance of people to work centers, services, commercial and religious institutions.
