Collective work on return to Cuba of stranded by Covid-19 praised

Havana, July 31 (RHC) The general director of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ernesto SoberĂ³n, praised the collective work that has allowed the return to Cuba of more than five thousand people stranded by Covid-19.

Only the collective work has been able to guarantee the return of the nationals in 84 flights from 54 countries, SoberĂ³n wrote in his Twitter account.

Once in Cuba, everyone will join the collective effort to achieve the control of Covid-19, added the director.

Upon arrival in the largest of the Antilles, in accordance with health protocol, the travelers are transferred to isolation centers, where they remain for 14 days until a possible contagion of the disease is ruled out, which affected more than 2,600 people and left 87 dead.
