An article written by Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, provides valuable lessons on how democracy works in the U.S. A few examples are enough to prove it.

The author is the U.S. representative for California’s 28th congressional district in the House Permanent Select Committee.

He began the article by warning that even after Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, its democracy “is still in jeopardy.”

He added that the warning of Senators to the President — that he would not change — “was prophetic.”

His actions, Schiff added, show the urgency to approve new legislative regulations to safeguarding democracy.

On the other hand, Los Angeles Times recalled that, few days after the end of the impeachment trial, Trump began his crusade against those who obeyed subpoena and told the truth before Congress.

This case is the perfect example.

He used a security guard to kick out from the Capitol U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman.

Who is he? This man is a decorated veteran, member of the National Security Council of the White House.

The Times added in its article:

The President’s revenge against public officers who dared to air their thoughts is disturbing.”

But it occurred along with a greater threat this week, the potential “weaponization” of the Department of Justice.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump pointed out he has the absolute right to lead every action in such institution, concluded Los Angeles Times.
