Havana, Jan 16 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) convened for January 17 the virtual forum The challenge of saving life, climate change and the blockade against Cuba.

At the meeting, solidarity activists and friends from all latitudes will discuss environmental care, the effects of climate change and how the U.S. siege against this Caribbean nation hinders actions to face the challenge.

They will also condemn the inclusion of Cuba in the unilateral list of the U.S. government of countries sponsoring terrorism, the internal subversive actions promoted and financed by Washington, and the media campaigns to subvert the internal order, as part of a soft coup strategy, ICAP informed.

According to the director for Asia and Oceania of that solidarity institution, Leima Martinez, the Cuban side will present environmental protection projects implemented in localities of the nation, detailed Granma newspaper.
