Venezuelan Socialist Party with almost eight million militants

Caracas, Jun 7 (Prensa Latina) Almost eight million people were registered until today in the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), after three days of starting the updating process for the November elections.
According to official figures at the end of Sunday, seven million 700 thousand people throughout the country received their membership cards or renewed their data in order to be able to vote in the elections of November 21.

The country's President and of the political organization, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the participation of the population in the voting days, which are being carried out nationwide and for which 140 points were activated with all the biosecurity measures against Covid-19.

He stressed that the PSUV is the vanguard of the people that grows with collective work, social discipline, solidarity and anti-imperialism, likewise he assured that the Venezuelan people have developed a higher patriotic, Bolivarian and revolutionary conscience.

On the other hand, he stressed that 'Venezuela does not want empires in the world of the 21st century, it only wants peace'.

Meanwhile, the Vice President of Mobilization and Events of the party, Pedro Infante, informed that the board of directors will hold a meeting to evaluate the possibility of extending the national registration day. pgh/abo/mem/ycv
