Caracas, Oct 19 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela and Iran are promoting a work agenda and a roadmap for the next 20 years, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations, Foreign Minister Felix Plasencia said on Tuesday.

In a message on Twitter, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy stressed that the two governments are committed to the consolidation of multilateral cooperation and the advancement of shared development.

During his official visit to Iran, Plasencia met in Tehran with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during which they reviewed the state of bilateral relations and issues related to the systematic persecution by the Government of the United States.

The foreign ministers agreed to reactivate the Venezuela-Iran High Level Joint Commission before the end of 2021, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry informed in a press release.
