Washington, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) The United States has agreed with Iraq to withdraw troops deployed in the Middle Eastern nation as part of supposed combat against terrorism.
Beyond the US decision, agreed in a videoconference between the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, a small military contingent will remain in Iraq for training missions.
The US mission and international coalition forces reached a transition, Washington and Baghdad noted in a joint statement issued after the virtual meeting. Such decision allows the redeployment of any troop remaining in Iraq, for which the timetable will be set in a future technical talk.
